They had a personal call for the manager only.  I told them I was the manager and they hung up.  Not 5 minutes went by and another caller asked for me.  He started rambling on about hockey, like I give s***...

Caller ID: "Dynamic Online"Woman called our Kansas City, MO office (said she was from 'DMC')and asked for 2 of our employees.  They were not in and offered her to leave a message with either of them.  She said she would just call back another time. If the call wasn't important enough to leave a message, it certainly isn't enough to call back at another time.

Acted like he knew me. Must have gotten my name out of trade association because he asked me if I was still a member. He acted a lot like the Atlas Tool phone guys (see hundreds of posts on them) Used the same tactics. He was just getting into his script, offering a free buck knife and then started acting like my old buddy again. I told him to get to the point because I was busy. He said he would call back tomorrow and hung up.

I got a call at work, home and a virtual # from QLS (the company supposedly serving me) advising there was a failed attempt to serve me and to call Jordan Associates in Cali at 714-794-2686. I called and spoke with him and he verified my SSN. He explained that I "took" out a loan from Ace Cash Express for $350 in 2007 and that I now owe $2588 + not incl attorney's fees and court costs. I told him I had no idea what he was talking about and to send me proof. He rerouted me to Assured Client Services at 562-295-6415 and they said they don't need proof, just some special affidavit (I forgot the name) in order to take me to court. They told me to Google Ace and I did. I called them directly, they couldn't find me in their system (spoke to 3 diff reps before getting the legal dept) and they told me they've been getting a lot of scam info just like this. I'm getting proof from Ace that I have never taken a loan out with them. Whatever you do, don't even verify your social to JA and ACS!

For anyone else recieving this call...Try to get all of thier contact information. If these guys identify themselves as attorneys we can call the california state bar at 1-800-843-9053 and they can search to see if they are an actual attorney and/ or file a complaint. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION!!!! I tried to call 714-388-6862 back today and got a voicemailbot. Lets do our best to run them into the ground.

I recieved a few calls from this number. I called back and spoke with Gregory Burch (spelling?) from Jordan and Associates, a law firm. Rattled off case numbers and something about serving papers. Really? You dont tell someone you are gong to serve papers.  I am not going to go into detail about everything, but based on my research I cannot find a Jordan and Associates in California. This entire thing is a scam. I have yet to call California Bar and find out more. Reverse phone does not turn anything up. I have reported them to the FTC. I do have a fax number I was supposed to fax something to, but it belongs to Assured Client Services. That website is ran off of Blogger.com. I got the contact number as 866-876-6313 and fax number as 714-735-9452. I called contact number and got a recording of a person that sounds exactly the same as the Jordan and associates recording. They messed with the wrong person here. I will be notifying any authority I can and might even mess with them a little. Try to scare me....and I will gladly reciprocate. Join me in ruinng thier lives just as they tried with ours!

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize; refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number; asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency. If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you. Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing. Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft – charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name. Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate – but you think the collector may not be – contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt. Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.> http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/alerts/alt076.shtm

Same thing from Jordan and Associates, QSS attempt to collect a debt.  They were threatening arrest, which is illegal.     From the Federal Trade Commisionhttp://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre18.shtmDebt collectors also are prohibited from saying that:     you will be arrested if you don’t pay your debt;     they’ll seize, garnish, attach, or sell your property or wages unless they are permitted by law                   to take the action and intend to do so; or     legal action will be taken against you, if doing so would be illegal or if they don’t intend to take     the action.

They won't stop calling. It's a scam, they change their number every 2 months. If they were a ligit company why do they change their number? Also, why when you go to their web site and click on contact, there is no toll free number, no address or anything? Everybody please take the time to turn them in. The FBI was just on Fox news talking about companies that do this. They said do not give any info and turn them in. I wonder if the people that work there even care they are scamming people? Do they need money that bad they have no morals?

The site is not legit.  The phone calls are not legit.  The website is a useless site with links making it appear as if somewhere, someone is actually doing true work with this company.  The website doesn't actually say or promise anything, but just goes in circles.  And the people who have posted claiming to either "work for" babytobee.com or "use" babytobee.com are most likely in on the phishing scam.  Do not give or confirm any information, because it takes very little to steal identities.  "Is this your e-mail address?""Your date of birthday...""Your mailing address...""Have you served in the military..."All of these questions they ask you are also asked when establishing credit cards and other forms of identity theft.**** If you look up this company for scams on google, you see that there are a variety of complaints all along the same lines as these.  If babytobee.com were legit, they wouldn't constantly be changing phone numbers from different states.

When I answered a recorded woman's voice told me that I had an opportunity to lower the interest rates on my current credit card (didn't mention a company name) but that the offer would expire soon and that I should press "9" to lower my rates now. I pressed "9" to tell them that I wanted to be taken off their list. A man answered and asked what was holding me back from lowering my rates. I asked what credit card he was referring to and he responded "Your current Visa and Mastercards." I asked what company he was calling from and he said something I couldn't hear and when I asked him to repeat the name he hung up. Very clearly a scam.

I got a phone call from a number 818-336-2413 from a man from Indian desent who said I owed a payday loan in the amount of $642.00 (including finance charges and such) and that he was an attorney and his name is Clay Allison. He threatened with bringing up on criminal charges because I committed "fraud" I had an instant panic attack because of this threat and told him that if I actually owed this that I would have every intention of paying this loan back. I don't remember taking out a loan under the original creditor's name he gave me and I have no way of finding out the number for these people so I could speak to them personally. He supposedly put me on hold to speak to the original creditor to see if MAYBE the creditor will put this debt on hold instead of pressing charges and kept asking me if I had an attorney. he told me that I would have to pay at least half of this debt by Friday, and the other half next week to avoid jail. I offered to pay by Western Union or money gram since I don't have a checking account and he said he doesn't accept that. (which is weird because I have paid loans and other bills through this service) and that he would only accept debit or credit card and that I would have to take out a prepaid debit card in order to pay him. Then he made me fax over a letter stating that I did not intentionally mean to fraud anyone and that the reason I could not pay this loan was because I had closed my bank account. I called back and it seems like everyone who answers the phone is of Indian desent. I know it is a California number, and when I called information they told me it was either a non-published number or a cell phone. Then I called early the next morning and now it gives a recording stating that the number I called did not go through and to check the number. What do I do? If I really owe this, I will pay, but this guy threatened me with jail time and I nearly had a heart attack because of this and I don't wanna get into trouble, but if this is a scam, I certainly cant afford to be $642.00 under and be jipped. Before I pay anything, I need to know if this is real just to ease my mind. Oh and one more thing, he did not verify any information with me. He just told me my name, and to spell it, and then proceeded to tell me that he would be bringing me up on criminal charges and thats when I started to cry!!!!
