Wow, Kayla sounds as if she could really be "Happy Customer"... certainly sounds as if they are employed there. This whole thing sounds like a different twist on the old time-share scams. You get something for just showing up, so long as you buy something! I am glad I found this. Planning daughter's wedding so will certainly be on the lookout for this......and stay away! Me thinks Happy & Kayla doth protest too much!

i went to the show 12/30/2010 the sales guy john was funny and we had a great time. i know the cookware cause my grandma has hers 20+ years so i was interested. you do have to pay the shipping on all your free gifts. they dont give them to you there. the champagne glasses were nice they had them on display there and you could pick them up and feel there weight and all. its 15.95 to ship them because it covers special insurance and packaging to make sure they dont break on their way to you. there are also two aprons (his and hers) that are cute and the shipping is 9.99. a lil steep on that shipping but once again its shipping + insurance to make sure it arrives to you. they offer you two free his and her wedding bands valued 300 dollars. you have to pay 25.00 per ring online when you order but that covers shipping and a lifetime replacement warranty. not bad in my opinion. i love the cookware. i purchased the 5 piece smaller set. my downpayment was 160 dollars and included shipping. i have not yet recieved my cookware but i am told it takes 4-6 weeks and it has only been two and a half so im not worried. everything checks out. you can visit ripoff report .com to verify yourself but the company is very old and works hard to take care of any issues or complaints. the salesman john even gave us his personal cell number in the event we have a problem or any questions. as for the vacations. you pay a refundable deposit of 100.00 (50.00 per night) then the hotel charges you 39.00 per night taxes and fees. thats the hotels scam not the companys but you still get two all inclusive wonderful nights for the huge price of 78.00 lol...so worth it. this cookware is not for everyone...its like a rainbow vaccuum type thing--good for life but very expensive. if something changes or my cookware never shows up ill be sure to post it on here but for now everything is checking out. as for the people that say this cookware is junk its just so not true. they even cook in it right there at the demonstration and you eat the food and you can walk up to it and hold it and examine it before you purchase. if they didnt like it then they should have used the opportunity to examine it before they purchased it.

I got this call after I went to a bridal show in town.  I also started getting these calls again after I bought my dress at David's bridal.  My fiance and I did go to the pot show, and the sales guy was funny & witty.  However, when we told him we were not buying anything, he closed the folder with such haste it blew a puff of air in my face.  We got the "certificates" to mail in.  I did that a few weeks ago, and just got the registration 'certificates".  Well they are both for 2-2 nights stateside.  It's supposed to be for 2 nights all inclusive, and 2 nights stateside.  I have emailed the website where you can register your dates online a couple days ago.  There is no 800 number to call to try to discuss this with a live person.  It requires a $100 "refundable" deposit, what does that mean?  Does that mean that's to hold your reservation and you get it back, or is that if you cancel your reservation you can get your money back?  I gave this place the benefit of the doubt, and they have of course let us down.

Amanda:How can you say its a "total scam"  when you havent even seen the show?  You people crack me up.  If you think its a scam then fine, we did to before we attended and found out how they are able to give out all these wonderful gifts.  They do trade outs with hotels and buy the rooms in bulk.  Dont go if you dont want to, but dont bad mouth someone that you havent even given them the time to explain to you how it works.

Just going to throw this out there, I got this same phone call and actually attended this in Alabama in Feb.. Happy Customer is telling the truth. We did not buy a thing and walked away with champagne glasses, a trip to the bahamas. Not a scam. I was weary of it at first, but it was not a scam at all. Everyone (the 2 guys giving us the information) were very nice and helpful.. They were definitely not trying to push anyone to buy and thing and it was made clear that you do NOT  have to buy anything and you will still recieve the gifts... So give it a shot.

HA Happy Customer...... I use to work there so i know for a fact it is a scam.... They give you a pack of telephone numbers that you have to call through 5 to 6 times a day. They get your number from Davids Bridal. Its funny we cal everyone that walks into the store. Even if you go to get a dress for the prom. They call you and say you were selected to recieve a Bridal Package with is NOT TRUE.. If that was the case then they would have to send it to you so you were not selected to recieve NOTHING !!!they want you to come to there show so they can try to sell you $5000 worth of pots and pans. Ya they do give to two vacations BUT..... They will expire before you get to even use them.. All they give you is a white piece of paper at the show saying its good for the vacations.. When you are ready to make your reservations you send the paper to The Vacations Dept. at Bridal Registry and expect to get that back in the next couple of months... The lady that handles that all she wants to do is gossip so you are gonna have to CALL AND CALL BEFORE YOU WILL EVER HEAR ANYTHING BACK... Believe me about the vacations if it sounds to good to be true it is and in this case for sure it is... You have to pay all the taxes and you have to pay a deposit off $100.. I have never once heard of someone even taking the vacations and i worked there for a while..They aslo say that you get FREE his and her champange goblets... You have to send in $15.95 for shipping not so free huh? They are cheap.. Very cheap... And if you do get them ( same girl that does the vacations ) they might be broke and if you look at the shipping it is only $ 4.50 or something like that.. And when you pick them from the post office you are probably gonna have to pay another $1 or $2 bc the owner is to cheap to put enough postage. Same with the spoons.. HA HA THEY ARE VERY CHEAP LOOKING... They say yeah bring another couple or your mom as a guest and you will get another $50 gift.Well they are not just a guest, its so maybe they will be stupod enough to buy the pots and pans also...Please dont waste your time !! IF YOU DO BUY THE POTS AND PANS ITS LIKE GETTING A CREDIT CARD... FIANCE CHARGES, YOU END UP PAYING ALOT MORE THAN EXPECTED...They are constantly changing there name first it was Southern Bridal Registry, then The Bridal Registry Show and now Bridal Registry. They have to do this bc brides find out that they are a scam and here you are reading this. They cant even send the brides to the Royal Prestige website the brand of the cookware they have to send you to West Bend Cookware.. Thats not even the brand.. So if that dosent tell you something right there.. And all of the good reports on here are from employees bc the Boss wants them to look good. If you notice they all use the same wording. The company isabout to go under bc more and more people are becoming aware of this SCAM.. This company was on NEWS CHANNEL 5 telling people about the scam and the OWNER didnt even comment bc he couldnt defend himself.... It was on THATS MESSED UP also abou them going to te show and not getting what they had promised them.   SSSSSOOOOO  Please dont waste your time going to the show.... All you have to do is google the # that called you and read all the reports and keep in mind everything good is someone sitting in BRIDAL REGISTRY, KITCHEN TRADATION, Who knows oh and if you are already married its HOME FURNISHINGS lol

The BBB shows Southern Bridal Registry as a DBA name for Royal Prestige of Nashville, 5517 Edmondson Pike, Nashville, TN 37211-5808 615-832-2296 http://www.bbb.org/nashville/business-reviews ... hville-tn-12762 (just scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and you'll see "Alternate Business Names   Southern Bridal Registry"). It's a "direct sales company" that allegedly sells West Bend cutlery (though posters report cookware and not cutlery). There is *NO* business license for Royal Prestige of Nashville or Southern Bridal Registry filed with the state of Tennessee, anyone is free to search here http://tnbear.tn.gov/ECommerce/FilingSearch.aspx which makes Royal Prestige of Nashville dba Southern Bridal Registry a FAKE COMPANY, doesn't it?

Look whoever you are, I dont have to prove anything to you or anyone else.  I have proof myself its not a scam because I have attended.  It doesnt matter if I am a happy customer or not, the fact is you havent even attended the show, so how would you know anything.  Anyone reading this can see that. All I am saying is go to the show and find out for yourself.  I dont want you to believe anything I am saying or anyone else one here.  Find out yourself.  And there is no way you can get scammed by driving yourself to wherever the showcase is and just looking, listen to them explain how they are able to give you the trips and gifts, and then leave.  Nobody can get your bank account #'s or SS# or anything else to scam you unless you gave it to them.  And only 3 out of the 7 of us bought something, but yet "EVERYONE" left the show with "EXACTLY" what they had promised.  I will make you a bet Mr. or Miss KNOW-IT-ALL,  attend the show, be there on time and stay for the entire show like everyone is required and if you dont walk out with your trips then I will personally attend the show with you and bring $1000 cash to put in your hand if you dont get what they said.  If you're not mature and grown up enough to do things on your own and make decisions based on facts not what me or anyone else says,  then you probably should be getting married because you sound like one of those grown adults that lets their mommy make all your choices for you still.  Sorry, not trying to be mean but our sales rep told us to google the company and read for ourselves.  And he said if we read anything negative about him or his business on here that was true and that we had witnessed then he would personally pay for our stuff.  And now I see what he means.  Dont trust me, but shut up if your not gonna go prove that its some kinda of a scam like you think it is.  Thats all I am saying, find out the truth before you open you big mouth.  And that $1000 bet is good for the next time they come to your city. So, if you dont take the offer and at least go see whats real and whats not, then I along with anyone reading this needs to assume that this guy is either just and idiot or a mad ex-employee that might have been fired just trying to get even, or maybe could be lesser quality cookware company trying to hurt this guys business/sales to benefit more himself.  Just a thought, who knows.JUST DONT LET OTHER PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE RUIN A GOOD THING OR A GOOD CHANCE FOR YOU WHEN THEY DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ANYTHING.  i WISH EVERYONE GETTING MARRIED THE BEST, I HOPE EVERYONE AT LEAST GOES BECAUSE THE SHOW WAS FUN, REGARDLESS OF IF YOU BUY THE PRODUCTS, BUT YOU STILL GET AN AMAZING ALL-INCLUSIVE WYNDHAM RESORT STAY FOR 3 DAYS NO MATTER WHAT.

No "happy customer" is going to look up the number on here in the 1st place, much less write a treatise on how these "hard working" scammers err I mean "business people" are "effected" (it's actually "affected" but what the hell) by people telling the truth err I mean "defaming" them. No, the only person who would do that is someone who depends on this scam err I mean "business" (LOL) to put food on the table. So as soon as we see "happy customer" you've essentially proven it's a scam because that is such an obvious lie.Now I'm sure you're actively monitoring this site (just like any "happy customer" would!) and will retort that you really are a happy customer and you don't work there. Every scammer who makes posts like this does pretty much the same thing.

Well Devon,  Its sad that you bash a good honest company before you even see what they are about.  You didnt even go to the show to see if it was a scam,  which I admit I had my concerns at first but people shouldnt be allowed to talk trash about a company when they dont even have the facts.Do yourself a favor and go to the show.  They are in Raleigh this weekend, 3/5/2010-3/7/2010 at the Clarion downtown.  We just went and had a great time.  The sales guy was very informative and kinda funny.  We placed an order, but he told us from the start that we did not have to, that the champagne flutes and trips are ours regardless.  Even after we sat down at the end of the sales presentation and told him we wanted to place an order, he talked to us for at least 10 min letting us know that he didnt want us to get it if we couldnt afford it because he has people all the time that get it and 2-6 months later cant afford it and think they can return it.  When credit card compnaies dont let you not pay your bill or give you your money back, neither does a car company or a house.  But he said people get mad at him and then write all kinds of crap on the internet, like how they were tricked and pressured into something they could afford. He told us "DO NOT BUY IF YOU CANT AFFORD IT, OR GET A SMALLER PACKAGE TO START." I understand now what he meant.  The first thing we did when we got home was googled it.  And we didnt even see one complaint for "his" actual company.  Royal Prestige is the entire international company, he cant speak for everyone. The bridal Registry is a member of The Better Business Bureau since 1997 and have an A+ rating.  I would recomend the products to anyone because my parents and grandparents have had the cookware their whole life and love it and it still looks great.  But, everyone isnt into buying top of the line, quality products and that is fine.  Our sales guy was Clint and he was nice to everyone, buying or not buying.  You get all your vacation packages and glasses just for going to the show.  So I hope everyone reads this and at least finds out for themselves.  And there is no Scam or any way for him to scam you.  The people claiming its a scam are people that bought and then try to get out of paying the bill which no company would allow you to do that.  So if you go, have an open mind and buy the products if you want the best and want something that will last forever.  If you dont then dont buy them.  Its really kinda simple.  But dont go on the internet and write something that effects a hard working, honest guys business, when what you're writing isnt based on any facts.

So I got the same call from the same number that most of y'all mentioned, she left a message, name was Charis or something like that.  I figured it was something silly when they left the message so i just got around to calling them back 4 days later.  They told me I just missed the Raleigh show, but they'd be back in town in 6 weeks or so and she told me all about the wine glasses and vacations too.  I asked if there would be any BS involved in going to the show and if I had actually already won this.  She said yeah you just have to come. I asked if they had any kind of email confirmations for the packages that they could send, she said no this is just a call center. I was pretty sure it was a scam at this point and immediately came back from lunch to google "the bridal registry show" to see if there a real business and instead I find these posts.  Thanks for sharing everybody, luckily I hadn't gotten my hopes up.  I can't wait until they call me back so I can tell them how I feel about wasting my time.

So sick and tired of these calls. These guys have called many times before, and I don't answer the phone (caller ID is great to an extent). I have in fact done redials on them, and they are the same "unknown" company, this time listed as "Service Dept",  with the exact same recording that says, "if you'd like to be placed on our do not call list, press 1 now". This company, whoever they may be, keeps using different numbers to call, as it is the exact same voice and recording when I've done the redial on them. You never reach a person, and unfortunately with the phone company (depending on which phone provider one uses) there is only an allowance of 30 blocked numbers. Reported it to the FCC as the laws have been updated in 2012 (http://www.fcc.gov/document/fcc-strengthens-c ... eting-robocalls) strictly prohibits these calls ("robocalls").
