I receive several phone calls a day, everyday from this number with no one on the line. When I use caller ID to call back, I get a "number no longer in service" recording. Very annoying
Report by Anon Long ago Unknown
Keep getting multiple calls everyday from this number and I get no response when I pick it up, just silence and perhaps static or phone noises. Annoying as hell.

Alan McGuane, 33, of Brookfield Lane was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance at approximately 3:19 a.m. Officers observed a vehicle on Harlem Road cross the white fog line and then come back into his lane. The officer initiated a traffic stop and approached the vehicle. The officer did observe the offender operating the vehicle. The officer asked the offender for his license, registration and insurance card. As the offender was gathering his documents, the officer observed a Chore Boy on the driver’s seat floorboard and pieces of crack cocaine also on the driver’s side floorboard. While searching the vehicle, the officer also recovered crack cocaine under the driver’s seat. The cocaine was field-tested and did test positive for cocaine. The offender was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters and processed.

No one can be searved paperwork from this scumbag company. They do not sue. It isn't criminal. It is illegal for them tocollect the debt as Aaron isn't licensed to collect in the state you are in. This last post was from a bill collector that possibly works there. If you gave them any money, You can have it reversed and given back to you for their illegal tactics. Nice try co-worker for ur last post. You can never shake us again as your tactics no longer work.

I'm really confused!!  These people begin calling me in August claiming that they had felony charges for malious intent to defaud a bank and where threatening to send the charges to the county court I live in.   I read these postings and ignored them as well because I thought they were scammers.  To  my surprise, I received a call from the constable in my county informing me that I was about to be served with papers and charges and I needed to contact "Aaron Davis" to receive   a stay of execution.  I called Davis and made arrangments to avoid "potential charges".  This is after I filled complaints with AG and everything.    I ended paying these Grawobroki and ASSoc people about 1200.00 bucks!!!  The fishy thing is I have not received the paperwork I was promised to release me from this so call debt.  I think I have been taken, but I cant explain why the cops FROM MY COUNTY !!! told me that these people and charges were very real!!  any recent update will be very helpful guys!!

This company Grabowski Obrien and Associates are a huge scam. They are under investigation for illegal collections and fraud. They have several felony complaints agains them and anyone dealing with Mr. Aaron Regdos aka Mr. Aaron Davis need to contact the NYS Attorney Generals Office immediately. Sue these people for illegally inflating the balance owed which is illegal, not being licensed in every state they are collecting debts in, and most importantly they use Felony tactics of calling people and making them think they are Law inforcement which cannot and will not be tolerated. Again look this company up under Google and search all complaints under Grabowski Obrien and Associates. Hope this was helpful. Nobody should pay this company any money and if you already have then you need to call your financial institution and get your money back for their illegal practices they use.

The same thing noted above happened to me. I had applied for a loan from another, legit company the night before. I was denied for that personal loan, and then the next day I received three calls from this company. The third time I picked up just to see who it was. It was someone from India I would guess. I have worked with people from India, people my company contracted for computer programming. The accent was the same as the people I worked with. Anyway they asked if I needed a car loan, and I actually do. I figured I would entertain the thought. Though I was not going to give them my ssn or birthdate. I went through the process, and right after I gave them a secondary number for me the guy hung up. I guess now he will be calling that number, and trying to talk to me through the home phone. Little does he know he will just be calling the same person. Now I am sure that I have these people knowing more than I want to about me, but the funny part is they will never get credit in my name.Right now I have had a string of bad luck, and my credit is shot. So I can't even get a loan. I doubt  these people will be able to use my name to get a loan. All three of my credit scores were in the 700's until last year. After a year and half of being unemployed I lost my Long Term Disability payments that I received as a benefit from my last employer. After getting sick with Multiple Sclerosis I lost my job, unjustly at that, and am currently seeking retribution from the company I worked for in a lawsuit. So it will be a while before I can even get credit. I have racked up about 25,000 in credit card debt. I owe 5,000 dollars on a car that was in an accident, and just sits at a family members house, because the bank will not repo it. They won't repo it because it's totalled and it will cost them more money to repo it than its worth. So all and all I am not worried about the scammers, but they are definitely a scam. When my credit was good I monitored it. You can monitor your credit so anytime anyone applies for credit in your name, including you, you get a letter in the mail, a phone call, or an email, depending on your preferences. Their are many companies that provide this type of service. I used TrueCredit at www.truecredit.com . They have a number of services, including the one I mentioned, and they provide you with Credit Fraud Insurance, something like $25,000 dollars worth. So if someone steals your identity and does damages while you are using their service you are covered up to $25,000.Though with their service it should be avoidable. You would be notified if anyone obtained credit in your name, or if your credit report changed in any negative way whatsoever. So if someone say used your name at a doctor, or for an electricity bill etc... and it ended up on your credit report as deliquent, you would then receive notification through Truecredit. There are many services like this. Some of the more sophisticated services allow you to even "freeze" your credit. This means you can make it so when someone tries to apply for credit in your name, they can not. The credit bureaus will not release your credit report, nor allow someone to open a line of credit in your name unless you unfreeze it. If you want to apply for credit you simply unfreeze it using your account, obtain the credit you are seeking, and then freeze your credit reports again. This is the best way to go in today's world. If you want to be truly protected, and you have good credit, you should at very least be receiving your credit report once a year. Though I suggest active monitoring as the safest way to protect your good name. Active monitoring along with freezing your credit reports, is the absolute best way to go, along with having some type of insurance against credit fraud.Depending on how much money you have, and how good your credit is you may need more or less coverage. My former situation brought me to believe $25,000 in coverage was adaquate for me. Though for someone that made more money than I did they may want to obtain somewhere in the $100,000 range. If you take the steps to be careful you can definitely help avoid identity fraud. Spending $14.95 a month, which was the cost for the TrueCredit service helped me sleep at night. Other services may cost more or less. I found the $14.95 service through TrueCredit adaquate for me. Though there are definitely other, better services. If you want to have "foolproof" protection you may pay a little more a month, but if you have the money, the price for piece of mind probably will be well worth it. It really comes down to personal choice. The long story short is, this company is a scam in my opinion. Any legit company would not hang up on someone that is entertaining the fact of getting a car loan from them. I was planning on asking the company name, and obtaining more information on them prior to giving my date of birth, or my ssn, but they hung up before we got to that point. If they were legit they would have called right back. Reading above, and seeing that they hung up on others makes me think that they have some sort of agenda. It suprises me they did not ask for my ssn, but beware, just having things like your address, phone number, and other personal information can help a scam artist obtain things like your driver's license number, ssn and date of birth. When I worked in the insurance industry, administiring benefits I billed payroll offices for employee dental, vision insurance, and flexible spending account benefits.During my tenure as a premium analyst in insurance administration I had access to a tool that allowed me to obtain information such as people's social security number, their previous addresses, rough dates of the times they lived at those addresses, current address, phone numbers, and their date of birth. I only had access to a small portion of the information available through that particular service. Other portions of that service were used by law enforcement agencies to obtain other information such as criminal histories, and other detailed information. If these scammers have access to a tool like that, they only need know your name, and your address and they can obtain the rest. No longer do we live in a private world. Just knowing a name and a street address is all they need. Even just a name and a phone number. If you have an uncommon name, maybe even just knowing the state you live in, the town you live in and your name. Really it is ridiculous, but this is what the world has come to. Knowing what I know, if you want to protect your credit get a credit monitoring service. That way if something that you are not involved in shows up on your credit report, or someone applies for credit in your name you will know. You get notified if an inquiry is made, an account is open, or if something appears in collections. There is the potential for someone to say use your name for a lightbill or cell phone, and not have your credit run to do so. Then when they do not pay the bill it would be reported to a credit agency. So even if you "freeze" your credit, you can still end up a victim of fraud. The key is knowing as soon as possible that it is occuring. The quicker you know the easier it is to clean up. Some of these services even offer assistance with cleaning up any errors on your credit report, and have specialists that will help you if you find that you're a victim. If you want a good basic service that will give you all three credit scores every month, notify you of any and all changes on your credit report, including inquiries the moment they are made, new accounts being opened, such as secured and unsecured loans, credit card accounts, auto loans, mortgages, and even when inquiries are made, along with notifying you if an account is reported to collections, and providing you all three of your credit scores on a monthly basis then TrueCredit is a good one at www.truecredit.com. They will also give you some insurance against credit fraud so if you are a victim they will help you pay off any debt that you can not clear up or cover any damages caused by the incident. If you want something  more intensive; a protection that will allow you to freeze your credit, get your credit scores, notify you of potential fraud, provide a higher level of insurance, and access to credit councilors in case you are a victim of fraud I would suggest doing some research. A simple google search for "credit protection" would probably lead you to many services that can help you.Sorry for the long rant, I hope this provides someone useful information in regards to protecting their credit. I googled that phone number and it brought me here. Since I saw it was probably a scam I figured I would share what I know about the subject with everyone, and possibly help someone avoid becoming a victim of fraud in the future.I am unlucky and lucky in the sense my credit is bad. Lucky because I know for a fact that these scam artists are going to find it impossible to open credit accounts in my name, because I can not even get a loan at this time. I will have to file bankruptcy first, and rebuild my credit. Unfortunately getting sick ruined me financially. Prior to being diagnosed I was about to by a home. I am far from a dead beat. I had paid all my bills on time for ten years, with no late payments prior to this. From the time I was 18 to when I was 28, and had lost my job, and then my disability insurance. The only loans I get now are student loans, secured by the federal government. Next year I will probably receive grants from the government, and have to take less loans for college. If I had it to do all over again, I probably would be in a better situation, but I definitely did not think I would get sick, and have all this happen at such a young age. I had planned well, but remember when it comes to your financial future you can never plan too well. You should always be prepared for the worst. I mean if I knew all this was going to happen I probably would have applied for tons of credit while I had amazing credit, even knowing I would have just built up more debt I could not repay, it would help me through this time.I hate to sound like a deadbeat, but when you are sick, and can not find work because of it, have a ton of medical bills, lose your car, which makes it harder to find a job; you really stop worrying about all the bills you owe, and that your credit is shot. There is a huge difference between being a deadbeat and ending up in a bad situation and not being able to pay your credit off. I had to make the decision between maxing out my credit cards knowing I could not pay them back, and paying medical bills and being able to get by for a few years. It sucks to be in the situation but I would not take back the fact I maxed out my credit knowing I couldn't pay it back, because without doing that the last two years I would not have been able to establish the medical care i received, meaning I would not have been able to ensure I was as healthy as I am not.I am lucky enough that I have found programs to receive my medical care, and have just enough money to get by because of the student loans I receive. I barely can afford the doctors. I am also lucky the company I receive my Multiple Sclerosis therapy from, which is a shot I take three times weekly, gives me that shot for free now. I have lost cobra insurance and everything.I was really hoping this company would be legit, and offer a high interest rate, because I could use a car, to get a job. Even a $2500.00 car. You would think there would be programs for people like me. I guess you can say I am part of the 99 percent, this so called wallstreet protest is talking about. I think there should be programs for people that get sick to get transportation. I need my own, where I live there is no public transportation, and that leaves me stuck. Now that I am feeling well enough to go back to work, I find myself in a situation that I can ont even get to work, or an interview, and I ask myself everyday how it is going to change. Please pray, I hope some of this information helped someone.Jon

I have had the same thing.  I agree, mine started after the free Southwest tickets.  I've also gotten calls from an Higher Education company (or so they say) and I've told them 3 times to take me off the call list and they said it can take up to 3 days, so hopefully it will happen soon.  For this number though, I've had the same experience as others.  It takes like 6 seconds for them to ever even actually pick up and then they don't speak clear english but it is something about a car loan and as soon as I say anything they hang up on me and call back 30 min. later.  Just called again, only 10 minutes between calls that time.

(274) 621-9073 just called me. I get calls from this number all day and night every 15-30 minutes. I've had this phone number over ten years.  Yesterday the number that started showing up every 15 minutes along with the above is  +27 (46) 219073.  I thought nooo they're not connected, but look at the numbers they both end in 219073. Don't answer! I accidently hit the green button and it picked up for a few seconds. My tv was on. That's when they instantly called from a blocked number. O M G they ((274) 621-9073)  just called again. It's been 12 whole minutes. It's after 6pm here.  My phone carrier is AT&T. Is AT&T giving numbers out? It was a home phone before I had it turned into a cell.  Someone mentioned facebook. I do have it set up on facebook for friends who post on my wall or send me messages to go to my phone as a text. The privacy policy of facebook states they don't give numbers out and my number's not listed on my profile. It's invisible to everyone, but facebook. I did do one thing that helped a bit.  I have an iPhone. I went to iTunes and found a song that is nothing.  It's no sound at all. It helps when your ringer is on. It's called anytime silent ringtone.  They have a lot of silent ringtones though. Listen to make sure they're completely silent. I found a few that were loud static. If you have a different cell phone you can downloud free silent ringtones from all over the net. You can block the number, but they'll change it and call from a different number and blocking costs money.  Does anyone know anything else I can do? I'm ready to get a lawyer. This is BS!
